Globally-minded research, evaluation, and knowledge mobilization/translation professional (KTPC).
I hold a Ph.D. degree in Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, with a focus on adolescent literacy and learning. I started my career in education as a high school and middle school teacher.
In subsequent professional roles, I worked as a teacher educator, researcher, consultant, and non-profit leader. I developed, implemented, and managed evidence-based youth, teacher, and community development programs in Canada, the United States, and throughout Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America.
My work in the non-profit sector focuses on improving programming through research and evaluation, student-centred approaches, meaningful integration of technology, innovative communities of practice, and peer mentorship networks.
